    This is to certify that on the 27th day of August in the year of our
    Lord 1840 before me James Mc ? on[e] of the justices of the
    in and for the County of Clearfield Abraham High of the Township of
    Jordan in said County and Elisa Patterson of said Township
    were legaly joined in marriage each of them being of full age
    and ?? free from other engagements

    In Witness whereof as well the said Abraham High and
    Elisa Patterson she assuming the name of her Husband
    as I the said Justice and other the witnesses present have
    subscribed their names this day and year aforesaid.
